J. Otto Timm joined CJMH as an associate in 2020. Otto has a wealth of education and background in his specialty and uses his knowledge of tax law and dedication to hard work to provide solutions for his clients. He provides an essential role for clients who are dealing with IRS audits, real estate transactions, charitable foundations, and estate planning. He is also capable of assisting in a myriad of business matters related to entity formations and terminations.
After receiving his BA in Anthropology from Pitzer College in Claremont, California in 2013, Otto continued his education and earned his Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law in 2019. Following graduation, he made his way to Houston to receive his LLM in Taxation from the University of Houston Law Center in 2020. Otto has continued his specialization in taxation as a current member of the Tax and REPTL Sections of the State Bar of Texas as well as the Taxation Section of the Houston Bar Association.
Outside of his professional life, Otto is an outdoor enthusiast and he can be found biking around town, or hiking and camping.
