Elizabeth Harris is a member of the litigation team and has been with CJMH since 2013. Previously, she worked at a small litigation boutique where she worked primarily with plaintiffs and gained valuable experience in employment law. Today, she represents all types of clients, from oil and gas companies to business owners and individuals as plaintiffs and defendants.
Elizabeth’s courtroom and trial experience from her time with and prior to CJMH have lent to her skillful approach and the successful outcomes of her cases. Her experience puts her clients at an advantage, whether she’s had months or an hour to prepare.
Elizabeth has successfully tried many cases to verdict and has extensive experience handling temporary injunction hearings. Elizabeth has superior knowledge, particularly in non-compete and misappropriation of trade secret cases. She is equally adept at handling document-intensive cases. Additionally, she has advised many clients on employment issues.
While she will always try to find a resolution for her clients in the early stages of their case, she is never afraid to take a case to trial. Clients have confidence in Elizabeth’s approach and know they are in capable hands with her representation.
Elizabeth graduated from Texas A&M with a BBA in Marketing in 2007. Afterward, she earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 2010. Today, Elizabeth is a member of the Litigation and Employment sections of both the Texas State Bar and Houston Bar Associations, as well as a member of the Association of Women Attorneys.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys time at the beach and bird watching, with her family including two active children.
