Katelyn Van Sickel is an associate in the firm’s general business and taxation practices. Her practice focuses on entity formation, corporate governance, and taxation.
Katelyn received her B.S.B.A in Accounting from the University of Colorado. After graduation, she moved back to Texas where she is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Katelyn began her career at a public accounting firm specializing in tax preparation for individuals and closely-held businesses. She then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers where she worked for three years in the assurance practice. Katelyn’s experience in public accounting has given her a unique perspective on the financial impact of corporate structure, company growth, mergers and acquisitions, debt offerings, litigation, and day to day business operations. Katelyn attended the University of Houston Law Center, graduating Cum Laude in 2018.
Katelyn loves city life in Houston, especially exploring the diverse food scene with her husband. She also enjoys dancing and kayaking around Texas, traveling back to the mountains in Colorado to go hiking and skiing, and spending time with family.
